This is about the day we met.

Who are we? We are our friends from campus. So we met one day before we left for campus. Even though not everyone could come that day, about seventy of them came. These are the ones who came.



We met on January 14th. It was at Viharamahadevi Park. That day we sang songs, danced, and had a lot of fun. Then we went to places like Galle Face and Galle Face. So that was a really beautiful day.


 


We won't see each other again before campus starts. So we can meet again when campus starts. So we are really looking forward to the day when campus starts.

I’m writing about something I never even thought I would write.

 Yes, that’s true. I never even dreamed that I would feel like writing something like this. But because of a journey I once went on, I felt the urge to write this. What I am talking about is a religion, or rather, a belief. I prefer to call it a belief rather than a religion, because to follow a religion one must be a devoted follower of it. But to believe in something, I think devotion alone is enough. I am a Buddhist. But quite unexpectedly, I got the chance to visit a  church. That was the Marawila Kurusa Church. Having never been to a church before, I felt a strange sensation when I went there. Was it emptiness? Was it mystery? I have no idea. But it was a very beautiful feeling. Lovely kandy
